Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, invites applications for admission to its M.Tech. programmes related to

- metallurgical and materials engineering,
- ocean engineering, physics ,
- interdisciplinary programmes in catalysis technology,
- nuclear engineering and petroleum engineering, and
- M.Tech. in clinical engineering.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Bachelor's degree holders in engineering/technology/ architecture or Master's degree holders in chemistry / mathematics/ physics/ life sciences or related subjects with valid GATE scores are eligible to apply.

- Application can be submitted only online.
- The application fee is Rs.200.
- The fee should be submitted in the form of a demand draft drawn on any nationalised bank in favour of the Registrar, IIT Madras and payable at Chennai.
- Last date: April 5 2010 .
Print-out of the online application along with the demand draft should be sent to the
